The Opal Foundation is a charity run by The Opal Property Group that aims to support children and young people – to give them opportunities that they may not ordinarily be given, which will ultimately enrich and add value to their lives.

This year they have arranged a national abseiling event with the goal of raising £40,000 in order to provide safe drinking water to 60,000 people in Ethiopia for life, to prevent children dying of water borne diseases.

The event is taking place on 27th September and myself (Joe Kisby) and Martin Krivinskas will be taking part in abseiling from The Place Apartment Hotel in Manchester.
