We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hi Everyone

First of all a big thanks for visitng our fundraising page and for your support, it is much appreciated. You will probably be aware that as a group we are taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge on the 7th/8th of September to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK which has impacted not just the families of some members of our own group but also thousands of other people in the UK so any support, big or small is really appreciated.Cancer Research UK are a fantastic organisation and are the single largest funder of research into breast cancer in the UK.

For those who are not aware, the aim of the challenge is to walk up and down the tallest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scaffel Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) all in just 24 hours! Considering that for most of us exercise is limtied to gentle strolls to the pub and the occasional half hearted jog to chase down a bus, this is going to be one hell of a challenge (except for Heli who will probably hop up and down).

I appreciate that you recieve a number of requests like this, however I doubt there are many of you who do not know of someone who has suffered from breast cancer and therefore ask that you please give generously.

Again a big thanks for your support!
