The Everest Base Camp trek is probably one of the most famous and one of the toughest&nbsp;treks to take on. Definitely a great challenge for me, for which I have now started to train.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN; mso-bidi-font-family: &#39;Times New Roman&#39;;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN; mso-bidi-font-family: &#39;Times New Roman&#39;;"><span style="font-size: small;">Reason why I am&nbsp;doing this trek is to raise money for the "Save The Children's FAST programme".&nbsp; Families and Schools Together has a proven track record of success and is endorsed by the UN and the Children's Workforce Development Council. Its aim is to </span></span><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN; mso-bidi-font-family: &#39;Times New Roman&#39;;"><span style="font-size: small;">help underprivileged children to get a better start in life by bridging the gap between families and school. It is indeed proven that 85% of a child's success is dependent upon the support its parents are able to provide outside of school. Once at the summit we will push on to our ultimate destination, the Everest Base Camp.
