On the 12th of July we set off from Rawtenstall at 7 am and embark on a massive journey around our district calling at Darwen, Blackburn, Nelson, Burnley and then finally back to Rawtenstall the route is around 50 miles long and will be done on mountain bikes. The route itself is yet to be finalised but will consist of some leg destroying climbs including grane road and potentially manchester/burnley road out of burnley which Im pretty sure is so steep it requires ropes and harnesses to climb. The main possitive going into this ride is that we don't have Clitheroe and Todmorden in our district any more. The team partaking in this ride are not regular cyclists nor are they the fittest so this will be a very testing and painful ride for us and this should reflect in how much you sponser us.
