Cambodia Community Challenge - Building a School · 6 October 2018

We're raising funds to help older and younger people gain confidence in the future, whatever challenges they face today.

Story

Please support me to raise £2000 for Our Charity partners so we can build much-needed classrooms in Cambodia.

This October I will head to Cambodia with 40 colleagues from across Santander on a life-changing journey to build much-needed classrooms for the Knapor Commune near Siem Reap.
Living and working alongside the local community, I will help increase the school’s capacity to provide hundreds of children with a brighter future.

Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia. Limited education in rural areas is a major impediment to realising development goals. The limited access does not only affect the quality of education but also healthcare, economic and community development. Rapid population growth exacerbates the problem. I will be contributing to the strengthening of the community by helping to build a school.
