My story

 

Hi,

 After deferring my place for last years Great North Run, it seems I'm not going to be struck down by illness again and so am going to have to pull on my trainers and get out there and do it!! I certainly won't be breaking any records but this is a huge challenge for me and I'll be glad to get round without collapsing!! I'm running for Teesside Hospice, a really incredible place that I'm truely indebted to for the care and support that they gave my mum. The hospice relies heavily on charitable donations to run on a day to day basis, a sad fact when you see first hand what a vital role these places play for people with terminal illness.
