Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We both took part in the Safe@Last, Not so Strictly Come Dancing fundraising event on Friday 15th January 2010 at Sheffield City Hall where we (along with 9 other couples) performed a perfect rendition of the jive and the quickstep in front of a live audience of 500 people.  Our family and friends were all there on the night to provide enthusiastic (and vocal) support and an amazing evening was had by everyone.  Big thank you to everyone.

Most importantly the event raised a tremendous amount of money for Safe@Last plus we all got to show off (never knew what exhibitionists we all were!!) our finely tuned dancing skills, spray tans (men), hair (ladies!) and sequined outfits!!

Alexis & I made it all the way through to the final where we just missed out on the glitterball trophy, coming a close second to Jill & Phil.

We would like to thank everyone for taking time to sponsor us and making this challenge well worth the effort that was put in.  Your donation will make a real difference to a lot of people.

If you didnt get the opportunity to donate before the event and you are suitably impressed with the photographic (and video!!) evidence (and the lycra trousers!!) please feel free to add your donation to the list.

Thanks again.
