Pedal 4 Pounds · 1 May 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 1st of May I'll be heading off from Huddersfield for a Tour of Yorkshire, two years before those nasty Frenchies try it.
It's all in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Academy. Both causes are important to me, but especially the Air Ambulance as I work on the helicopter as an Aircrew Paramedic.
The bike ride last year was really tough due to the lovely British weather and judging by this Easter we may be in for another grueller! I'll be pedalling from Huddersfield to Huddersfield via Hull, Scarborough and Harrogate. Last year I managed to raise just over a thousand pounds and my aim is to get to that sort of figure again. It's never easy to ask for sponsorship again, especially with the Government intent on a triple dip recession but I feel it's these sort of events that bring communities together and help keep things going, so please dig deep and donate now.
