Story

Well folks it's all over again for another year!

I survived the ride without mishap; the weather was glorious (although the westerly headwind a little testing in parts) and there was a great atmosphere at the finish in Tenby and at the evening festivities. Legs a little achy today in parts but otherwise I’m fine.

Full details: 100.54 miles, 6 hours 50 minutes cycling time, average speed 14.7 mph, max speed 37.1 mph (!), average heart rate 151 bpm, total ascent 5022 feet, total descent 5047 feet.

And most importantly: £200 raised for JDRF  - so a huge thank you once again for your generous donations and great support!  Given we raised around £50,000 last year with 317 riders, I would hope we’ll break the £100,000 barrier with all 650 of us this year - which is truly fantastic.

My next challenge: working out what to train for now!  Maybe I should do a bit of upper-body work for the beach ;)
