Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having been in a team that raised a large sum of money for MacMillan Cancer Support in 2009, I feel that it is worthwhile turning one of my planned rides this year into another fund raiser....

The question was which one? Cycle the length of Sustrans NCR5 from Reading to Holyhead over Easter Bank Holiday...no to easy... 4 days 300 miles - more of a holiday than a challenge.

All 3 days of Tour of Wessex 3 days over 100 miles per day.....more like it but still nothing I haven't done before.

Heart of England 300k....200 miles in 1 day from Cirencester to South of Leicester and back on Saturday 10th April 2010..Now that is a scary distance, that will do it!!!

So I am going to cycle 200 miles in 1 day and hopefully raise a little cash for a VERY worthwhile charity...

I will be tweeting @  http://twitter.com/Joberry

I will be blogging as normal @ http://johns-cycle-diary.blogspot.com/

MacMillan is a charity that I personally hold a lot of respect for, my mother was supported by MacmIllan nurses whilst she was fighting cancer. (A battle she unfortunately lost)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
