I am running as part of a family team running the Great Eastern Run in October. The charity run is a half marathon and we’re hoping to raise funds for the Hunts Cancer Charity Network, which some of you may know,  gave my uncle a huge amount of support in the last months of his life. 

We are hoping to raise as much money as we can for this team of dedicated individuals who made my uncle's final few months of his life, far more comfortable then if he had to go it alone.  I am hoping to persuade as many family, friends and work colleagues to  help raise money for this very worthwhile cause,  particularly one so close to our hearts. 

Kim was an inspiration to me having run 4 marathons, one half marathon and had cycled the length and breadth of the UK.  I’m sure you will agree that getting people to running an easy(ish) 13 miles for charity would have put a smile on his face!
