I am raising money to supply a number of Kenya's Maasai Communities with a clean water supply. This includes sinking boreholes, laying pipelines and providing filters.

Putting these things in place transforms the lives of the Maasai people. It dramatically reduces sickness and disease and it has a huge impact on girls' school attendance rates. The long term, economic effect of this cannot be over-stated. 

Last year Lady Gaga joined the PCMS ski trip in France and skied the main run into the centre of Mongenevre to raise money for these projects. She is unavailable this year but has arranged for a Maasai elder, Nderekeyia -sometimes known as Maasai John, to join the 2013 trip and he has agreed to ski the same run dressed as a Maasai Warrior.
