Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

My friend Robert Kettle and I plan to visit all 92 football league clubs and four more to promote awareness of depression and also to raise funds for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young). Our trip is being done entirely in our own time and completely from our own finances. Every single penny goes to charity.

Please see http://www.c-r-y.org.uk for more information

CRY was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of conditions that can lead toYoung Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD); Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS); SADS. Every week at least twelve young people die from undiagnosed heart conditions.

We were moved by the recent illness of Fabrice Muamba and want his thankful recovery to be an inspiration and to kickstart further awareness. Football brings people together and we believe our tour to every ground will gain attention and hopefully much needed funds for CRY.

Thanks for your support as it means a lot
