It strives to contribute to the education of pupils at the School in Tanzania. It does this by raising money for the improvement of buildings and equipment at the school and also by providing bursaries and scholarships for children of the area.

Story

A group of us from the parishes of Eton Wick and Dorney are cycling from Dorney to Oxford to raise money for Mvumi School in Tanzania, and as a parish event for the Olympics.

Mvumi is a school in the heart of Tanzania where there is little rain and crops do not grow easily. The school is mixed and educates a significant number of children who cannot afford to go to school. It also has a special unit from visually impaired students. For many the school provides a lifeline to enable children to learn skills, to gain qualifications and to move on to higher education

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
