Coming off the bike on Sunday 29th April and injuring my shoulder has put paid to any hope of completing the trip in May this year. Medical advice is that cycling will worsen my injury and mean that I'll need an operation and an even longer lay off from the bike. I'm just gutted not to be going next week!! :-(

Less than two weeks to go now! Everything is in place for the trip, I'm giddy but a little anxious about the mileage.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2012 I'm riding from Lands End to John O'Groats.  I'll be doing the 1000 mile ride unsupported and taking around 11 days.  I'm setting off on the 9th of May and I need to be back at home by the 23rd of May when I have a significant birthday (unfortunately it's not my 40th)!

On the ride I'm hoping to raise Money for Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure, so please dig deep and donate now.
