Coming off the bike on Sunday 29th April and injuring my shoulder has put paid to any hope of completing the trip in May this year. Medical advice is that cycling will worsen my injury and mean that I'll need an operation and an even longer lay off from the bike. I'm just gutted not to be going next week!! :-(

Less than two weeks to go now! Everything is in place for the trip, I'm giddy but a little anxious about the mileage.
