Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Like most people, I have been involved in quite a few charity events over the years, but have never had the opportunity to choose the charity myself.

Ultimately, as with many disability issues, the burden of care almost inevitably lies ultimately with the family. What makes the difference is the quality of support such families are given, not just financially, but with opportunities to share experiences, obtain advice, and be given access to respite care. Knowing how difficult this all is, I would like to do something to help the NAS provide more of these services, especially at a time when the government is having to draw back its provision.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please help, and dig deep.

John

Over £4500. Terrific, unbelievable. So many good friends relations and colleagues. Might just still make it, but over 90% is not bad

Big day. Result! Relieved, exhausted and surprised. Was worried about wrist and shoulder. They're o.k. Quads on fire. Hand swollen like a balloon. Who cares. It's a result. Thanks to all supporters. Thanks to everyone who came. Just thanks John
