<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span><strong>December 1999</strong> – I joined the organ donor register due to an illness when I was a baby that caused my heart to enlarge to almost the size of a football.<br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span><strong>July 2000</strong> – I could hardly walk across the room due to heart failure<br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span><strong>29<sup>th</sup> July 2000</strong> – A young man called Steven Tibbey died due to a car accident and donated his organs to transplantation.<br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span><strong>30<sup>th</sup> July 2000</strong> – I was lucky enough to receive the very generous <strong>“Gift of Life”</strong> from Steven, he donated his heart to me.<br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span><strong>Sept 2000</strong> – I took part in the Harefield Transplant Hospital fund raising jog, just 6 weeks after transplant.<br /></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span><strong>May 2001</strong> – I completed the Henley to Harefield bike ride – 26miles</span></p>
