Hi, my name is John Fortey and I'm a Colchester based Personal Trainer.  On July the 30th 2011 at 3:30pm I will be attempting to carry two people weighing over 70kg's each on a Super Yolk frame weighing 15kg's for 5 Kilometres.  I will be starting the event at St Helena Hospice, Colchester and finishing the event at Castle Park, Colchester during 'Concert at the Castle'.

I am doing this event to raise money for a local charity that has provided care and support to so many seriously ill local people. St Helena Hospice provided an excellent level of care to a close member of my family and could not do enough to support them and the rest of the family. The hospice is only partly funded and relys heavily on the fundraising they do. I would like to help them raise money so that they are able to continue making such a valuable difference at what is usually a very difficult time.

I have been filming regular video diaries of my training and uploading them to YouTube.  Please take a look at my latest entry, 'Part 3' and see my carrying the two guys for the first time.

I will shortly be hearing back from Guinness World Records as I am hoping this will also be a new world record.
