<p>As you may know, my Mum passed away in April 2009, in Edinburgh, after a long lung related disease (COPD). She had left her family home in the late 1950's to move to London, where she settled, met my father, and had her own family. She returned to Edinburgh in 2000.</p> <p>At the time of her death I was not able to do much in the way of fundraising (eye-operation!). However, in July (9th-15th) 3 friends and I will cycle from Walton on Thames to Edinburgh (approx 460 miles / 780 km) , and I will be aiming to raise us much money as I can for the UK Lung Foundation in Mum's memory.</p> <p>So please give generosuly - this is an incredibly worthy cause.</p> <p>I will be posting a daily diary on FaceBook for anyone who wants to follow our progress!</p> <p>Thank you for all your support</p> <p>John</p>
