All of my family from my father's side died from coronary heart disease and my father had a triple heart-by-pass approximately ten years ago. Without this surgery, I would probably not still have my father whom is now 75. Both of his parents died whilst I was a young boy, my grandmother at 60 and my grandfather at 65.

I am cycling in their memory, as well as saying a big thank you to the cardiac surgeons who save lives daily, especially the one who helped save my father's life ten years ago!!
