Hello and thank you for visiting our Just Giving page!

As those of you who know us will probably be aware, our daughter, Nancy was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year. In coming to terms with this we have had great support from a locally-based charity, Friends Of Oscar. By way of a thank-you for their help so far, we are holding a coffee afternoon at our house from 2pm on Saturday October 17. If you would like to join us for high-quality caffeine-based drinks and calorie-laden comestibles, not to mention a table-top sale, raffle and the chance to purchase some of this fine charity's excellent merchandise, you will be more than welcome.

If you can't make it, but would like to donate, then you have come to the perfect place. Here we don't say, “Give until it hurts”, but we do say, “Give until you need a little sit-down.”

We hope to see you on Saturday. As another Oscar might have said, “I can resist everything except temptation and John's Mocha cake.”
