So it&rsquo;s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.</p> <p>Between 2001 and the end of 2011 some 2209 British servicemen/women have been killed or wounded in action in Afghanistan.&nbsp; St Georges School is repeating its fundraising activity for The Soldiers Charity by running 10 metres for each of those&nbsp;2209&nbsp;casualties, resulting in a run of 22.09km (just a&nbsp;km&nbsp;above a half marathon).&nbsp;&nbsp;The tragic loss of 6 servicemen in one incident alone&nbsp;last week&nbsp;serves to remind us why this is such a necessary&nbsp;cause.&nbsp; The Soldiers Charity supports the injured, bereaved and&nbsp;orphaned from recent conflicts.&nbsp;</p> <p>I hate running but I do enjoy a curry.&nbsp; Any donations whatsoever&nbsp;(which will go to the Soldiers Charity not to my curry or blister repair kits!) would be much appreciated.So please&nbsp;donate now.</p>
