My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After many years finding reasons not to take part in the marathon, I have finally run out of excuses.
Fortunately, after being drawn at 37th reserve in my company ballot, a great charity like Childcare have managed to find a place for me.
In return for their support and my place in the marathon, Childcare ask for me to raise funds to support their numerous causes.
Childcare (www.childcareuk.org) provides counselling for children and young adults up to the age of eighteen, regardless of their beliefs, together with their families, who could be experiencing emotional difficulties.
My parents have supported this charity for most of my life. So, with my own bones beginning to creek, I think it's now time I supported this great organisation.
Please help with anything you can. Every penny raised will help to motivate me to put the miles in through those horrible winter mornings.
