Last year at Thunder Run my friend Tom and i were running our last lap . He had an irish hurling jersey on and Reg recognised it and shouted over to us . We all had a laugh running the 10k together and she told us about the wonderful charity fundraising she does for Bowel cancer and persuaded us to run 16 miles from East Midlands Airport to Nottingham Castle to raise awareness and funds for Bowel Cancer Uk . 

My wifes grandparents both had Bowel Cancer so this charity is close to our heart .

Tom and i are seasoned runners but have not done much running lately so it will be quite a challenge for us both .

Please try to donate a few pounds .

There are 200 runners doing this event on the 9th March and Reg has set a target of everyone raising £10000 . If everyone raises £50 she will have achieved that .
