Bath Half Marathon 2014 · 2 March 2014 ·

Better bone health for everybody. We’re proud to be the only UK-wide charity dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. With 40 years of expertise and experience behind us, we are committed to helping keep the nation’s bones stronger for longer.

Story

On Thursday 27th February I will set off from my home in Radstock to run 193 miles around the West Country, BEFORE I join thousands of others on Sunday 2nd March for the final 13 miles - the Bath Half Marathon, to raise funds for the National Osteoporosis Society.

That's 206 miles in total - a mile for every bone in my body.

I'll be running through Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire in my 193 mile warm-up before returning to Bath to join all of the other runners for one of my favourite races - the Bath Half.

This will be my third challenge to increase awareness of osteoporosis. I want to raise as much money as I can for the National Osteoporosis Society, a charity based near my home, who support millions of people across the UK living with osteoporosis and the painful broken bones that it can cause.

The National Osteoporosis Society is the local featured charity for this year's Bath Half.

Please support me to help this fantastic charity to continue their work supporting the thousands of people who need their help every day.

Thank you for your support,

John
