My story

As you may already be aware JCB has for many years been involved in supporting & raising funds for the NSPCC & every so often we become involved in raising a mega amount that allows the charity to fund a really major project.

The last time this happened was in 2009/10, when with the help of our sponsors, we successfully raised over £500,000, which allowed the society purchase a new building in Staffordshire to help house and support a greater numbers of children in the Staffordshire area.

The new fundraising appeal is to raise a similar amount of money to help renovate this building in to a place children will feel safe and secure with all today’s modern technology around them.

To help reach this bold target four members from the JCB Attachments division have decided to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats over 9 days (just over 100miles per day). I am sure you will agree this is no easy task. We would be grateful for any donations to help reach the £10,000 JCB Attachments target, I fully understand that in the current economic climate times are hard and money is tight, but it is at times like these that the support services provided by the NSPCC become under even greater pressure. How ever much you can spare would be greatly received, every penny counts.

Cheers

John
