Story
A team of 13 people from Coloplast UK, have decided to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge.
The Three Peaks Challenge, involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. The peaks are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales.
The team will start out on the morning of 1st July when we leave Peterborough for Scotland.
We will then start the challenge 5pm, at Ben Nevis which at, 1,344m or 4,409 ft is the tallest of the three.
From there the expedition will drive south into the Lake District where we will climb Scafell Pike (978m, 3209ft)
The final of the three is the Welsh mountain, Snowdon, standing at no less than, 1085m, 3560ft.
As a nominated driver I will be driving a minibus 1100 miles through the mountains to help make this all possible.
Sue Ryder provides incredible hospital and neurological care for people facing a frightening, life-chagning diagnosis. They do whatever they can to be a safety net for patients and their loved ones at the most difficult time of their lives.
This is going to be a huge personal challenge for each member of the team, whether drivers or walkers alike.
