BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

Leading the way to a better quality of life for everyone severely affected by mental illness.

Story

I've been tempted out of retirement to take part in this years GNR - the offer was too great to turn down! Having put my services out to tender the winning bid was Rethink - the mental health charity - no comments please

Rethink are the UK's leading mental health charity working to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life - 1 in 4 people will be affected by a mental health problem this year.

Every penny that I raise will be put to good use from providing hope and empowerement through effective services and support to all those that call upon it to campaigning for change to achieve greater awareness and understanding of the illness.

All donations will be gratefully received to help me reach my target - however, the bigger the better!
