Why Addenbrooks Hospital? My wifes sister and one of my best friends were both treated sussessfully for cancer last year at Addenbrooks. They need to raise over  £1million to replace a robotic operation system and I plan to help them by offering my services free of charge as a Skipper on the Sailing Challenge Plus walk across England 200 miles in May.Our aim is to sail from Southampton across the English Channel to Cherbourg on the northern coast of France. Weather permitting. it should take approximately 24 hours to sail there and back. Cast off will be on 6th August, returning on Sunday 7th.
