<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>For some unknown reason (!), I have&nbsp;accepted a&nbsp;challenge to run the London Marathon on 17th April 2011 to help raise much needed funds for Trinity Hospice who rely on voluntary contributions to continue with their marvellous work.</p> <p>It was here that my darling wife Sally spent&nbsp;the last few days of her life before&nbsp;her cancer eventually took hold and she died on 15th February last year. I'm doing this in her memory and want to raise as much as I possibly can, to help the Hospice continue it's fantastic work to help other terminally ill patients in the last few days of their lives and their relatives afterwards.</p> <p>And now to the task in hand!</p> <p>While I have run the marathon&nbsp;before (in fact twice!), it was 28 years ago and I wasn't much fitter then! Now is no different and since Sally's death, I have put on more weight than I care to admit to, but this gives&nbsp;me not only the focus to try and get fit, but also to provide a lasting memory in Sally's name.</p> <p>Anything you can give, no matter what, would be so&nbsp;very much appreciated.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
