My story
So that's it, the decision has been made, I'm running the London Marathon! Having been in serious training for the last 3 months I was expecting a significant injury to provide the perfect get out excuse. However despite a few nagging aches and pains I am still relatively unscathed, if a little sore!
So on April 22nd I will be on my way, all 26+ miles, raising funds for the Wessex Cancer Trust, a superb local charity committed to improving cancer care for adults and children throughout the Wessex region. Please take a look at their web site to see the fantastic job they do.
Being of a certain age, I'm also striking a blow for the over 60's and ticking off one of those boxes in the list of 100 things to do before you cease to be! So please support me in this senior moment. Any donation however small would be most welcome. Many thanks in anticipation and also thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
