I am running the Southampton Half Marathon on Sunday 5^th
May 2019 in aid of the Quilter Foundation.

Funds raised will support one of the Foundation’s major
initiatives - our Young Carers Campaign - specifically giving young carers in our communities the chance of a brighter future.  The money raised will be donated to our principle partner for the next 3 years – Carers Trust – to provide immediate relief and personal development opportunities for young carers, aged 16-25, in our communities. Today, there are an estimated 700,000 young carers in the UK looking after loved ones with disabilities, long-term illnesses, mental health issues or addiction problems. Because of their caring duties, young carers
often feel isolated, anxious and depressed. Working in partnership with Carers Trust our campaign will give young carers the chance of a brighter future.
