Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Virgin London Marathon for the first time this year.  I have been running for a couple of years and have done the MK NSPCC half marathon and the Nike MK half marathon, so the London Marathon seemed like the next challenge!  I have chosen to run for Willen Hospice as they are a local charity which has touched the lives of people I know in Milton Keynes.  I have been training hard, even in the heavy January snow, and expect to complete the course - hopefully with a good time.

Update-  I completed the marathon in 4 hrs 26 mins, so was very pleased. I developed a stitch on the last 4 miles, but still managed to sprint to the finish line, I think all the training paid off. It has been a great experience, and one that I will never forget, and knowing that money has been raised for such a great cause. I would like to thank everyone who sponsored me, it made all the training worthwhile. Also many thanks to the Willen Hospice staff, they were all very helpful and work very hard, and nothing was to much trouble.

If you would still like to sponsor me, it is not to late, just follow the justgiving link, or see me for the sponsor form.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Willen Hospice is a charity that I feel strongly about supporting, and I know others in Milton Keynes feel the same.  So please dig deep and donate now.  Thank you!
