I have finally found a charity that is willing to give me a well sought after place in The London Marathon 2010 (thank you to my Sister In Law Namita who made it possible), I have been trying to run this for a few years and am looking forward to the challenge

All of those of you who know me i'll be pestering you to try and get money out of your pockets, blood out of a stone for some of you i know....

I will be running the Marathon to raise money for Vista, Vista is an independent charity that provides services for blind and partially sighted people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland of whom there are nearly 6000 recipients. Training starts next week (21st December) with a run to blow away the cobwebs and get me into the spirit of things. I'll update the page with my training and photo's.

 

My training has unfortunatley been curtailed by several unexpected matters but i plan to head out on a 10 mile run and start getting into those double figures this week (9 Feb 10). No photo's yet as i haven't anaged to talk anyone into coming out with me. Training is going well and i am working hard towards hitting my target time of under 3.5 Hours. Further updates to follow.
