Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 22 May 2011 I'll be joining the Wirral Coastal Walk to help raise money for Merseyside's seafarers in need. The Shipwrecked Mariners' Society supports impoverished seafarers and their families living around Merseyside. Many retired seafarers have worked in the maritime industry for 40 or 50 years, often in very dangerous conditions, and do not enjoy the quality of life in retirement that they deserve for their efforts on behalf of the country. The charity has been supporting the seafaring community for more than 172 years. The 15 mile walk, organised by the Rotary Club of North Wirral, starts out at Seacome Ferry and finishes at Thurstaston.
