Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It seems an efficient way to collect sponsors in the modern age as I can reach out to everyone I know far and wide.
As some of you will know I am running the Stroud Half Marathon to raise as much money and awareness as I can for the Miscarriage Association, which is an organisation that is personally very important to me. I ran the event five years ago on their behalf and hope to better my time from the last time out but I will be happy just to finish and raise as much as I can.
