My story

 
Hi

 

I would just like to say a big thank you to those of you who generously sponsored me for my visit as a carer for the ill to Lourdes in France. I had a truly amazing, memorable and emotional experience. I have met some genuinely fantastic, selfless people who work for the charity ACROSS, and I’m in awe of their dedication and commitment to such a worthy cause. I have been invited back to travel with ACROSS again next year and I have duly accepted.

 

Over the course of the next 10months I will be undertaking various fundraising events for ACROSS, helping them to raise of funds in any way I can. I have set a target of £3000 for my visit next year. This will raise the funds for 2 volunteers/carers, one being myself. The remainder of the money will go towards buying medical equipment for our visit. I hope that you will continue to give generously towards this worthy cause.

My first fundraising effort will be the Newark half marathon on Sunday 9th August. I suppose i should start training?????
