Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm taking part in the Shine Night Walk on Saturday 28 September in memory of my good friend Jon Peache and would really appreciate your support.
Jon sadly lost his battle with cancer earlier this year so his family and friends are joining together to walk the half marathon and raise money for bowel cancer research.
Each day in the UK, around 110 people are told they have bowel cancer. Thanks to improvements in diagnosis and treatment, the number of people surviving for five years or more has more than doubled in the last 40 years. But sadly, bowel cancer still claims around 44 lives each day.
Amazing people like you help support Cancer Research UK’s research into new treatments for bowel cancer. By sponsoring me you can help more people survive bowel cancer.
Every pound you donate really does make a difference towards the work into diagnosing and treating bowel cancer – so please sponsor me now!
Gift Aid it!
If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
Let’s beat cancer sooner.
