My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have ran 3 marathons in the past 18 months. My aim is to run another 3 before I turn 40.

Believe me the training doesn't get easier nor does those 26.2 miles on marathon day.

For 2011, I will be continuing my journey at London in April, Edinburgh on my birthday in May and back home in Dublin in October.

Prostate Scotland is my charity of choice, literally taking the taboo of Prostate by  the balls and raising awareness. 1 in 2 Scottish Men will suffer from this disease. Please don't have nightmares as not all men who have an enlarged Prostate will develop cancer.

Together we can raise awareness and prevent needless premature deaths.

Looking for donations in hard cash or clothes for my rag a bag scheme in conjunction with Glasgow York Street Hospital for kids.

In return I get to run and raise invaluable funds both for Prostate and Sick Kids Hospital Glasgow.  I have a training plan and log up and running with a target time which hopefully I'll achieve by time Dublin comes round.  In addition, I have agreed to take part in a year long study for Bath University. Every piece of support, from encouragement to financial or recycling donation is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
