Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most people are well aware I like to set myself personal and fundraising challenges. Last year I took on the monumental task of an Ironman, raising £1000 for the NSPCC in the process. This challenge makes the Ironman look like a walk in the park. Believe it or not Ironman is a mass participation event which 1000's of people complete every year. I'm only 1 of 16 people that have been selected for the 10 in 10, making the challenge pretty unique and highlighting the enormity of it.

I first ran the Windermere marathon 3 years ago, to say its challenging is an understatement, I'm convinced there's more up hills than down. As part of my training I ran the same marathon last year after each event I struggled to walk for two days after, so I'll need to up the training if I'm going to complete the marathon 10 times in 10 days.

One of the main reasons I've decided to take on this challenge is to help The Brathay Trust raise as much money as possible. I've seen first hand some of the fantastic work they do for disadvantaged children in the UK and with the country in the state that it is, I can only see this kind of charity becoming ever more popular. So please give generously, not just for me taking on a ridiculous challenge, but for changing young peoples lives.

The fundraising starts here, the event takes place next year, and the training has commenced. Lots of miles to cover, lots of early mornings asking myself why, but all for a good cause, thanks for reading and hopefully see as many people on any of the 10 days in Windermere as possible.
