Mount Kilimanjaro · 7 June 2013

Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for road victims and campaigns for safer roads for all. Brake's National Road Victim Service is a specialist support service to help families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day.

Story

In June I am going to be trekking up into the clouds when I climb up Mount Kilimanjaro, on a 7 day climb. It’s the highest peak on the African continent as well as also being the tallest free- standing mountain in the world.

I am going on this trip to raise money in loving memory of Kaine May. Sadly a road traffic accident saw Kaine gain his angel wings in July 2011, aged only 14. He left behind a heartbroken family and devastated friends.

I have personally seen the devastation and aftermath this continues to cause a beautiful family, and therefore all proceeds will be going to BRAKE, a leading charity promoting road safety awareness and who offered lots of support to Kaine’s family after his sudden passing.

So please dig deep and donate now.
