<p><strong>On Friday 21st April, I successfully completed my challenge - but please read on and continue to donate.</strong></p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and welcome to <strong>your chance to win a custom built bicycle </strong>whilst helping the vital work of Cancer Research Wales - the nominated charity of The Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councillor Professor Delme Bowen.</p> <p>I have challenged myself to ride to and from work every day for a week in April 2012 - approximately 200miles in total. Since I am not a regular bike rider this will be a real challenge - but one I'm ready for, knowing the money I raise will be put to very good use, to benefit us all.</p> <p>I will be riding a bike generously provided for me by Cardiff Cycle Workshop - a community enterprise in Ely, Cardiff, which specialises in repairing and restoring unwanted bicyles; in so doing, they provide an innovative recycling service and support and promote sustainable transport.</p> <p>Your donation will enable the talented and dedicated scientists at Cancer Research Wales to continue their valuable work, seeking a better understanding of all types of cancer and developing improved methods of treatment.
