We provide a lifetime of support to the wider Army Family.

Story

On Armed Forces Day (25 Jun) I ran 50 miles from the Home of the British Army in Aldershot to the Defence Medical and Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court, as the final event of my 16 month Run4Recovery challenege for ABF The Soldiers' Charity. More at http://run4recovery.wordpress.com/.

ABF The Soldiers' Charity is the Armys' charity, supporting soldiers and their families - both now and in the future. Operational deaths in Iraq and more recently Afghanistan are well reported, but less so has been the ever increasing number of physical and mental injuries. For the men and women who are casualties, recovering their health will be the biggest challenge - far greater than the one I plan to undertake on their behalf. Recovery costs time, effort and money.

Run4Recovery has been a personal challenge and, bar a few exceptions, each run has been harder or longer than the last. I ran my first marathon last Nov and having been running a marathon or ultra-marathon every month since.

This challenge has all been about supporting soldiers, with actions speaking louder than words. Make a donation and make a difference. Please show your support.
