Thanks for taking the time to visit our fund raising page for Contact the Elderly.  The Three Peaks Challenge is recognised as one of the toughest challenges in the UK, both physically and mentally.  The generally accepted target is to complete the challenge within 24 hours.  Ultimately, our own goal is for each and every Partner to complete the challenge safely and as a team.  Therefore we have elected to extend the time allowed to 30 hours to encompass these principles.

Why Contact the Elderly?  Well, working for John Lewis means that they choose a charity to support each year and this is their chosen charity for 2009.  You can find out more information about the charity at their website.

UPDATE!  On 9th August, seven members of our team completed their third of the Three Peaks, with the other three members having completed two peaks and starting on their third before having to retire due to injury.  A fantastic effort by all concerned and a memborable experience!  Thanks once again for all your support.  Mark
