Story

The Event

Just hours before the world’s top cyclists race the RideLondon Classic, 20,000 cyclists will have the chance to cycle a modified version of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race. This new event offers a unique opportunity to become part of cycling history. Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by London 2012, RideLondon100 will start in the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follow the closed roads through the capital and onto Surrey’s stunning country roads and hills. With leg-testing climbs and a route recently made famous by the world’s best cyclists, this promises to be truly spectacular event for all involved.

I have been training hard for the 'Ride100' with the last big ride on Saturday 20th July with the 120 mile Dynamo ride overnight from London to Dunwich on the Suffolk Coast. It's going to be a great event and very much looking forward to riding on familiar roads that will be closed to traffic.

Natural History Museum

I have chosen to raise money for this great institution which needs our support to maintain it's important work. I have always enjoyed visiting the museum and recently had the pleasure of watching my nephew experience the it's treasures for the first time.

The Natural History Museum is renowned as a cultural treasurehouse, scientific powerhouse, cathedral to nature, and recorder of life on Earth. For over 125 years, we have pushed the boundaries of what a museum can be.

We need your support to continue this vital work, from cutting-edge scientific research to new, dramatic galleries, from brand new learning spaces to the preservation of our historic buildings.

The 'Museum of Life' is a unique, and vital place. Please consider donating now to secure its work for future generations.
