To officially start the training for my Everest Base Camp trek in November, I will be doing a 25 miles sponsored walk up the Test Valley in Hampshire on Sunday April 10th. I am trying to raise as much money as I can for the Geoff Smith Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of which I am a Patron.

The charity, founded by Geoff (a MS sufferer) provides holidays in its Villa near Alicanti in Spain for MS Sufferers and their carers/families. The charity owns the villa and does not charge any rent for its use. The foundation also provides help and support to may MS sufferers which may include funding medical requirements or helping to buy specialised (and expensive) electric wheelchairs. I realise times are hard and I have pestered you for various charity projects but a couple of quid each should help me to reach my target!
