I have been given a great opportunity to climb/walk snowdon with the team members of Sussex 4x4 response to raise money for the group. so we can expand and give more assistance to the public in adverse weather conditions. The group is self funded and all the work is done by volunteers doing what they enjoy as well as giving something back to the community.

Since the group has been formed we have kept the hospital running in the snow, helped in the recent flood water and have been over to the isle of weight. As well as assisting in the adverse weather we have helped the local scout groups run events and assist the rotary club in the Chichester challenge with great success.

The group is hoping to work with the police, search and rescue as well as the local councils but to do this we would like to improve our members knowledge and skills base so we can be an effective team with the right equipment. We want to keep doing what we are doing but help more people who need us or more importantly their carers.
