19/02/2007:-Training has been going well and off line donations are trickling in thanks to family, friends and works colleagues. I still need to raise a minimum of another £600 to reach my target and any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. 

22/06/07..Completed the ride now. 431 miles in total. First two days were hard. Very hot and hilly but rest went well. Have passed my target now thanks to family, friends, contractors and especially to all my work colleagues at VOSA. I couldn't have done it without their support.

PS. If anyone else is thinking of doing it tackle as many hills as possible and take plenty of something for the poor old buttocks.
