Story

Hello friends...

So... I'm running in the Great Manchester run this Saturday - it's my first 10k run and I am greatly looking forward to it. The reason why I am able to take part this year is that I have been invited to run for Henshaws society for blind people. I did not know a great deal about Henshaws until very recently, when a good friend of mine got a job working for them in Manchester. What I do know however is that they provide expert care, advice and training to anyone affected by sight loss and have been doing so for 173 years! Clearly for this work to continue they need people like us to help them, so please give what you can, however little that may be.

Many thanks,

John.
