Johnnys-Marathon-Mission
As the title probably gives away I'm running the 2012 London Marathon, all 26.2 miles of it.
The raising of the money will be a tough one so all your help will be so very much appreciated.
I used to run a Social firm in Norwich called Yes2Work helping people with disabilities back into work. It was a real eye opener to how we take for granted our health and how the human spirit can be so strong even when it seems so much is against them. Unfortunately our contract was ended but thankfully was passed to a great organisation called the "Shaw Trust".
The "Shaw Trust" support people to find the jobs they desire then actively support them in their work place and help people live independently.
Knowing the clients and the changes the organisation can bring to them and their families is a fantastic incentive to complete the Marathon.
If anyone can support me then I honestly would be over the moon, and if anyone can run a raffle, quiz or whip around in their work place I really would be eternally grateful and so would everyone at the Shaw Trust.
